He Makes All Things Beautiful

Scripture tells us that when we look at creation, we know there’s a Creator. (Romans 1:20) Maybe that’s why I love traveling and seeing new places.... the canyons, the mountains, the sunsets, every bit of it reveals the creativity and beauty of God’s work.
Recently, after a walk, I sat in my car and just stared at a tree. Its leaves were turning yellow and falling off the branches. It looked like everything was changing... even dying... and yet it was so beautiful. I realized in that moment that even in transition, even in loss, God still makes things beautiful.
If He can make a tree stunning in its shedding season, how much more can He make us beautiful in ours?
He is the Creator. The One who forms, builds, and restores. When Jesus came to earth as a man, He was a carpenter, a builder... still creating, still forming purpose out of pieces.
Sometimes I think about how we order something online and have to put it together ourselves. You open the box, and it’s full of screws, boards, and instructions that barely make sense. It can feel frustrating and overwhelming... but then, when it’s finished, you see how every piece mattered.
That’s how life feels sometimes. We look at all the random pieces... the pain, the mistakes, the waiting... and wonder, “Lord, what can You do with this?” But just like a skilled builder, God knows exactly how every piece fits together. He knows where the smallest screw belongs. We might not see the full picture yet, but He does.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” That includes you, your story, your process, your seasons of change. Even when it looks like things are falling apart, God is still building something beautiful. We just have to trust the Creator’s hands
because He never wastes a single piece.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for being the Creator who makes all things beautiful in Your time. Help me to trust You in the seasons that feel unfinished or messy. When I can’t see how the pieces of my life fit together, remind me that You do. Thank You for being the One who builds, restores, and brings beauty from every season. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
